Port Adelaide vs. Sydney Swans: Australian Rules Football

Sunday, June 13th, 2010

In an Australian rules football match next week, Port Adelaide will take on the Sydney Swans. To meet each other, these teams are fortunate as they have both struggled in the past few matches they have played in.

Entering their last match, the Swans had been on a four game losing streak. By winning an exciting match against Essendon, they were fortunate to shake their slump. They managed to win the match by nine points.

Port Adelaide has been in the middle of a slide of its own. Port Adelaide is seeking to shake the losing streak that they have been on and has not won any of their last four matches. This match against Sydney may present a plausible situation for them to get out of their funk as they have been struggling as well. If they hope to get back into form, they will need to take advantage of this poor team.

For Port Adelaide, Daniel Motlop will be a key player. To be reckoned with on offense for over a year, he has been a force and he can carry this team at times. In their last match he was held scoreless. If Port Adelaide hope to compete cannot afford to have another performance like that from their star.

After their last win, the Swans seem to be excited. Into this match, they seem to be excited. If they can bring the intensity into this match that they are capable of they will be able to control this game. In this matchup, the Swans will be the favorites.
